BIOGRAPHY
BJ GRANVILLE was born in Fort Benning, GA as an Army brat and quickly found a love for music. Church is what brought out these artistic gifts in him and helped him find people and opportunities that would “train him up in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6)
He attended The Osceola County School for the Arts for Dance and Theatre.
He began his career doing youth community theatre in Central Florida. Performing at Theatres such as Steinmetz Hall at The Dr. Phillips Center (Bring it On ), The Studio Theatre at Osceola Arts (Beauty and the Beast & The SpongeBob Musical), The Osceola Performing Arts Center (West Side Story, The Little Mermaid, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory & Free at Last) and The Garden Theatre (ENCORE & 16 Chairs).
BJ GRANVILLE has also gained many opportunities to explore different roles in the theatre world. He has directed/choreographed many shows including, The Lightning Thief, The Wiz, Descendants, All Shook Up, and many showcases throughout his career.
He currently attends the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music in the BFA in Theater: Musical Theater Program
One of his most cherished opportunities was being able to write, direct, choreograph and produce an original show entitled “Free At Last: A Celebration of Freedom”. This was a project he began working on in 2018 that had its world premiere February 28th, 2023 in honor of Black History Month.
